The base is made from waste gamal wood.

The toadstools are hand-carved and hand-painted sustainable albesia wood. Albesia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world and therefore is a perfect sustainable material - in some countries, it is even considered an invasive species, and having an incentive to cut back the trees is great for sustaining the local ecosystem.
